Ben is an experienced foreign-qualified corporate lawyer with deep experience advising startups and emerging companies, as well as venture capital, growth and angel investors, on all manner of corporate transactions for clients in the US, Japan and Canada, from incorporations and SAFE and convertible financings to private tender offers and mergers and acquisitions for late stage private companies. Ben is in the process of getting licensed in British Columbia.

Prior to joining Osler, Ben was a senior associate at a leading Silicon Valley law firm known for advising the highest calibre of technology companies on the most critical matters, and prior to that practiced in Tokyo, Japan, where he advised Japanese and international clients on cross-border corporate transactions in Japanese and English.
