Cameron is a JD candidate at the University of Calgary. He holds a Bachelor of Arts (General) from Wilfrid Laurier University and a post-graduate certification in paralegal studies from Fanshawe College. He also earned a P1 paralegal licence from the Law Society of Ontario.

Prior to attending law school, Cameron worked as a legal services coordinator for a non-profit community housing provider and as a program analyst for a regional municipality.
