Cata Garzon

Cata has recently completed her second year of law school at the University of Windsor. Last summer, she completed a Certificate in Public International Law obtained through Queen’s University’s Faculty of Law at Bader College in the United Kingdom. Prior to attending law school, she obtained her BBA at the Lazaridis School of Business and Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University.

While at law school, Cata was elected as Vice President Operations (2022-2023) and Vice President Academic (2023-2024) of Windsor Law’s Students’ Law Society. Cata is an active member of her law school being a Co-Chair of Merchandise for the Women and the Law club, a semi-finalist in the Transnational Law Moot, and a previous student caseworker at Legal Assistance of Windsor as part of the Immigration practice. Her mooting experience led her to compete in the Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Law Moot where she mooted at the Federal Court in Toronto. She previously worked as a research assistant for Professor Richard Moon of the University of Windsor’s Faculty of Law.

During her undergraduate studies, Cata completed a minor in Economics alongside four co-op placements working both in finance and professional consulting services.
