Gabriella has successfully completed her first semester at the University of Calgary. Prior to law school, she was an education assistant with the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation where she taught students from kindergarten to high school about wildlife conservation. She was also a research coach for Indigenous Studies 415 (Research Ethics & Protocols) where she supported students in a third-year undergraduate experiential learning course focused on creating organization-based research projects using Indigenous research methodologies. Gabriella was also a participant of the Indigenous Judicial Shadowing Program gaining exposure to court proceedings in the area of criminal law.
Community Involvement
- Pro Bono Students Canada, Volunteer, Elementary School Mock Trial – delivered educational workshops to grade 6 students at underserved elementary schools to reduce barriers to learning about the law in a fun and interactive way.
