Makenna Lutz

Makenna earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. Prior to attending law school, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with Honours from Mount Royal University, where she held various leadership roles, including serving as Vice President of the MRU Varsity Dance Team and Executive Director of the Canadian Association of Criminology and Legal Studies.

During law school, Makenna actively mentored first-year law students and served as Co-President of the uOttawa Association of Women and the Law. She also participated in several moot court and negotiation competitions, including the uOttawa 1L Nelligan Moot, LeClair Metaverse IP Moot, and the Counseling Creators Negotiation competition at the University of Miami School of Law. Makenna has a keen interest in corporate law, privacy and technology law, as well as working with emerging and high-growth companies.
