Seniru Ruwanpura is a JD candidate at the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law. While in law school, Seniru has worked as a Research Assistant for Dr. Michael Geist, focusing on projects related to Canada’s AI strategy and the discoverability of Canadian media content. He has also served as President of the uOttawa Law and Technology Student Society, the student chapter of the university’s Center for Law, Technology and Society.
Prior to law school, Seniru earned his BSc. in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary. He has worked both as an engineering researcher and in engineering and project management roles for Canadian software companies. He is an APEGA licensed Engineer in Training.
