Tristan has completed his second year of law school at the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. He previously obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Finance Specialization at the University of Victoria.

During University, Tristan rowed for the UBC Thunderbirds and UVIC Vikes. He also coached for the Inlet Rowing Club and worked as a Research Assistant, focussing on Restitution and International Tax Treaties. Prior to attending law school, Tristan worked as a residential Realtor and bartender.
