David is an associate in Osler’s Financial Services group developing a broad practice in the areas of commercial lending, structured finance, and derivatives.
David joined the firm as a summer student and subsequently completed his articles, rotating through the Financial Services, Tax, Insolvency and Restructuring, and Emerging and High Growth Companies groups.
Before entering law school, he worked in the energy sector for leading global engineering-services firms and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Calgary where he was actively involved in various student leadership roles and award-winning technical projects.
During law school, he sought to specialize in business law and pursued his keen interest through extensive involvement with the Business Law Clinic, Venture Law Society, and Tax Law Society at Queen’s University.
