Eileen Hanley

Eileen is the Manager of the Corporate Services Department of our Montréal office.

She has been specializing in corporate law since 1994 and joined Osler in 2002. As manager of the Montreal Corporate Services Department, Eileen oversees the daily operations of a dynamic and growing team consisting of corporate paralegals and assistants and ensures seamless coordination of mandates and top-quality service to the firm’s clients and lawyers. Eileen is responsible for managing business and strategic matters such as recruitment, onboarding, training, professional development and performance evaluation of her team members. She also develops and implements policies and procedures and identifies opportunities for continuous improvement.

Recognized in the legal market for her leadership, team spirit, mentoring and people skills, Eileen is committed to fostering a healthy and productive working environment for her team and champions career development, continued legal education and client service excellence. As a strong believer in leading by example, Eileen works alongside her team to maintain a deep understanding of the evolving legal landscape and continuously refines her skills to stay ahead of legislative and industry changes and technological advancements, with a goal of fostering a collaborative environment where her team feels supported and valued.

Eileen has served on the boards of several professional associations throughout her career and has been an educator to many in the legal community on various aspects of corporate law.
