Emily is an associate in the Financial Services Group in the Toronto office.
Her practice involves advising financial institutions, equity sponsors, and corporations on a wide range of financing and commercial matters, including project finance, domestic and cross‑border lending, acquisition finance, syndicated lending, and structured finance transactions.
Emily joined the firm as a summer student in 2022 and returned for a second summer in 2023. She completed her articles with the firm in 2025, which included a secondment at a major Canadian bank.
Emily earned her J.D. from the University of Toronto Faculty of Law, where she received the top mark in her Corporate Transactions and Advanced Secured Transactions courses. Prior to attending law school, she worked in the legal department of a major Canadian financial institution.
