Karam Putros is an associate in Osler Toronto’s Emerging and High Growth Companies group. His practice focuses on venture capital and corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and general corporate matters.
He has represented numerous emerging companies throughout their life cycle, as well as investors, in various financing rounds and acquisitions, ranging from Seed to Series C and beyond. Prior to joining Osler, Karam worked as a corporate associate at a Canadian national law firm where he focused on venture capital and mergers and acquisitions.
Karam completed his J.D. at Western University. Prior to law school, Karam completed his H.B.A at the Ivey Business School and B.Sc. at Western University.

- Sycamore Partners in connection with its acquisition of the Canadian business of Lowe’s Companies.
- Ten Coves Capital as lead investor in the Series C financing of Blue J Legal Inc.
- Horizon Blockchain Games Inc. in its Series A financing for US$40 million
- FORUS Therapeutics Inc. in its Series B financing round
- Cinchy Inc. in its Series B financing round and secondary offering for US$14.5 million.
