Khaoula is cross-appointed to the Insolvency & Restructuring and the Disputes Departments.
Her practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on insolvency and restructuring. She has advised and represented debtors, creditors, court-appointed officers and purchasers in proceedings under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangement Act (CCAA) and the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Act (BIA).
Khaoula holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Master’s degree in International Business Law from the Université de Montréal. She also completed a Bachelor of Laws and a Master’s degree in Economic and Social Law at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, as well as a Certificate in European Private Law from the University of Salzburg. During her studies at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, she participated in an exchange program at the Faculty of Law of Kadir Has University in Istanbul.
Prior to joining Osler, Khaoula practised as an associate at another national business law firm.
