Kristian has extensive experience defending clients in multi-jurisdictional class actions, commercial litigation across a broad range of industries including technology, data & privacy, banking & financial services, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and health.
He specializes in business-critical corporate and commercial litigation including data & privacy litigation, shareholder disputes and corporate remedies, competition and anti-trust litigation, defamation, and insurance disputes. His broad class action practice includes defending clients against allegations of manufacturing defects, pricing practices and other Consumer Protection Act claims. Kristian has led the defence of significant and complex privacy and data breach litigation and access to information matters.
Kristian is fluently trilingual in French, English and German, and regularly appears in Québec and Ontario Courts, the Court of Appeal of Québec, the Federal Court of Canada and the Supreme Court of Canada. Kristian has also appeared before various professional bodies and administrative tribunals, including the Administrative Tribunal of Québec and the Commission d’accès à l’information.
