Kristin AuCoin

Kristin is an associate in the Intellectual Property Group of our Toronto office, with a focus on trademarks, copyright, entertainment and media, and regulatory law. Kristin has represented clients in matters before the Federal Court of Canada, Divisional Court, Ontario Superior Court, and small claims courts. Kristin has experience with commercial and business litigation, intellectual property, defamation, regulatory, entertainment and media, bankruptcy and insolvency, tort, and enforcement-related matters.

Kristin completed her J.D. at Queen’s University, where she received awards for highest standing in intellectual property, research, and advocacy courses. Kristin represented Queen’s Law at the 2019 Wilson Moot, where her team won 3rd place overall and 2nd place facta. Kristin was also Co-President of the Queen’s Law Cancer Society, raising money for cancer research, and tutored law students on substantive course content and study skills.

Prior to joining Osler, Kristin summered, articled, and practiced as an associate in the litigation group at a prominent international law firm.
