Lauren Graham

Lauren is an associate in the Pensions and Benefits Group of our Toronto office.

Prior to joining Osler, Lauren summered, articled, and practiced at a leading pension, benefits and executive compensation boutique, where she advised public and private sector sponsors and administrators on a wide range of pension plan compliance and governance issues. Lauren has provided advice on a variety of pension plan administration issues, including religious exemptions from mandatory plan participation, recovery of pension overpayments, and the fiduciary implications of various pension plan investment strategies and offerings.

In her previous role, Lauren gained experience working with jointly sponsored pension plans, including acting as counsel for a sponsor of a jointly sponsored pension plan and assisting the sponsor and administrator of a single-employer pension plan in its conversion to a jointly sponsored pension plan. 

Lauren received her J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. While in law school, Lauren was the recipient of the Gowling WLG Prize for attaining the highest standing in Environmental Law, and the Arthur Charles Pape Memorial Prize for attaining the highest standing in Indigenous Peoples and Canadian Law. Prior to attending law school, Lauren received a Bachelor of Environmental Studies, with a specialization in Environmental Politics, from York University.
