Michael is an associate in Osler’s Disputes group. His practice focuses on litigating complex corporate and commercial disputes, construction disputes, and energy disputes.
He has appeared in the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the Alberta Court of Justice, and he has experience in both domestic and international arbitration.
Prior to joining Osler, Michael practiced in the litigation group of another leading Canadian law firm and served as a law clerk at the Federal Court of Appeal. He has experience with tax disputes, environmental disputes, Indigenous consultation disputes, and judicial review of government decision-making.
Community Involvement
- Michael regularly volunteers with Pro Bono Law Alberta to assist self-represented individuals through the Amicus and Civil Claims Duty Counsel programs.
