Rachelle Saint-Laurent

Rachelle is an associate in the Disputes group of the Montreal office. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and a Master’s degree in Public Law (LL.M.) from Université de Montréal.

Her master’s thesis, on asymmetries between the provinces in the Canadian Constitution and their interpretation by the Supreme Court, received an “Outstanding” rating from the jury. During her graduate studies, Rachelle was the recipient of the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Scholarship for Excellence, as well as the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Graduate Scholarship.

During her undergraduate studies, Rachelle interned for eight months with the Honourable Marie-France Bich at the Quebec Court of Appeal and was awarded Mention of Excellence in each academic term. Throughout her university journey, she has been involved in faculty life, notably as president of Université de Montréal’s Access to Justice Committee, and as a member of Université de Montréal’s Legal Clinic for NPOs, an initiative of the National Student Pro Bono Network.
