Sarah Taylor

Sarah is an associate in the Regulatory, Indigenous, and Environmental Group of our Calgary office. Sarah’s practice is focused on regulatory, and Indigenous law issues that affect energy and natural resource projects and proceedings. Sarah previously practiced at a large midstream pipeline company with a focus on Indigenous law issues and regulatory proceedings in front of the Canada Energy Regulator. She has assisted on matters before the Canada Energy Regulator, the Alberta Utilities Commission, the Alberta Energy Regulator, the Ontario Energy Board, the Mackenzie Valley Land and Water Board and the BC Energy Regulator.

Sarah obtained her Juris Doctor from Queen’s University. Prior to law school, Sarah attended the University of Toronto and obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics.

While at law school, Sarah was elected as the Student Representative to the Queen’s Law Faculty Board.  Sarah acted as the Student Director of the Queen’s Law Moot Court Committee and as a student moot coach. She was the President of the Queen’s Law Ski and Snowboard club and is an avid skier now frequenting Lake Louise.
