Bushra has completed her second year of law school at the University of Windsor. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, studying Political Science and Peace, Conflict and Justice Studies. Prior to law school, Bushra worked at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a Community Relations Advisor where she provided strategic advice to the Premier’s Office on all issues relating to Ontario’s multicultural communities. Prior to that, Bushra worked in the non-profit sector where she supported youth in 10 countries in designing and implementing information and communication technology entrepreneurship projects.
While pursuing her legal education, Bushra volunteered at the Community Legal Aid clinic where she supported low-income individuals in the area of landlord-tenant law. In addition, after her 1L year, Bushra summered at Infrastructure Ontario where she gained extensive exposure to the areas of contract law and real estate. During her 2L year, Bushra was a contract law Teaching Assistant, participated in the Hicks Morley Moot Competition and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition.
While at Osler, Bushra will be working in the Litigation, Infrastructure/Construction/Energy, and Corporate practice groups.
