Logan is a litigator with experience in a range of commercial, employment, environmental, and administrative law matters. He has successfully represented clients before the British Columbia Provincial Court, Alberta Court of Justice, Alberta Court of Kings Bench (Civil Chambers), and in administrative tribunal proceedings.
His employment and labour law acumen has served clients in all manner of issues before courts, tribunals, and arbitrators. His practice includes employment standards, human rights, and wrongful dismissal claims as well as labour grievances and union disputes. He has represented both executives and employers in workplace-related conflicts, including matters involving termination and post-employment competition concerns. He also provides guidance on risk and enforceability issues arising from employment and contractor agreements.
Logan has expertise defending alleged regulatory offences, and has successfully persuaded Crown counsel to dismiss charges brought against clients.
As a creative and strategic thinker, Logan enjoys researching and crafting arguments to passionately advocate for his clients’ interests.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, his experience in finance and accounting helped serve start-ups, large businesses, non-profits, and government entities in many industries including energy, transportation, technology, investment, and healthcare.
