Marissa’s practice covers many areas of corporate and commercial law, with a focus on the energy, financial services, and infrastructure sectors. She has worked on a variety of complex transactions related to public-private partnerships, project financings of major renewable energy projects, acquisitions and sales of large energy and infrastructure projects, syndicated credit facilities and partnering agreements. Marissa has experience representing a broad range of clients, including corporate borrowers and lenders, including developers, equity sponsors, contractors, and banks.
Marissa obtained her J.D. at the University of Ottawa, and spent a semester studying abroad at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She received her B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering at McGill University and her M.Sc. in Financial Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh and Heriot-Watt University.
Prior to joining Osler, Marissa summered and articled at another national law firm.
