Shira completed her J.D. at Queen’s University. Prior to attending law school, she obtained a B.A. in Political Studies from the University of Manitoba, where she graduated with distinction.
During law school, Shira served as both the President of Queen’s Sports and Entertainment Law Society and VP Outreach of Queen’s International Law Club. In addition, she was an avid volunteer for Pro Bono Students Canada. In her final year, Shira also worked as an analyst for Queen’s Conflict Analytics Lab, where she assisted with the development of machine learning tools aimed at improving investor protection in capital markets and access to justice.
Following her first year of law school, Shira gained industry experience working in-house at an artificial intelligence technology company in Winnipeg.
During her articling term at Osler, Shira will be working with our Commercial, Corporate, and Real Estate groups.
