Osler wins 10 Awards at the IFLR1000 Canada & the United States Awards 2021

Osler is pleased to announce that we have won 10 awards at the 2021 IFLR1000 Canada & the United States Awards. The event, which took place virtually on September 21, celebrates the most innovative and impactful domestic legal work conducted in the corporate finance space. Through in-depth research, peer review and client feedback, the awards honour the best-performing law firms and lawyers and pay tribute to the most impressive domestic deals of the year. They endeavour to reflect the depth of domestic legal markets, with categories recognising work at state or region level.

• Canada Deal of the Year (Project Finance) –  Bayers Lake Community Outpatient Centre C$260 million financing
• Canada Deal of the Year (Restructuring & Insolvency) – Cirque du Soleil CCAA
• Canada Lawyer of the Year (Equity Capital Markets) – Francois Paradis, Partner, Corporate.
• Canada Lawyer of the Year (Restructuring & Insolvency) – Marc Wasserman, Partner, National Chair, Insolvency & Restructuring.
• Canada Team of the Year (Banking)
