On October 4, 2012, Dream Industrial REIT (then known as Dundee Industrial REIT) completed its initial public offering for gross proceeds of $155 million and listing on the Toronto Stock Exchange. The proceeds of the offering were used to purchase two industrial portfolios across Canada for a purchase price of approximately $575 million and $159 million, respectively.
