On January 30, 2025, Rayhawk Technologies announced the successful raise of $3 million in a Seed funding round led by Emmertech. Rayhawk plans to use the funding to double down on commercialization of its railcar technology, with a focus on grain terminals, food processing plants, port facilities and mining sites.
Emmertech is a Saskatchewan-based venture capital firm specializing in AgTech and Agribusiness Innovation.
Rayhawk Technologies, based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, has developed proprietary technology for automating the lid opening, inspecting, closing and sealing of railcars.
