On June 9, 2021, Kepler Communications announced it had raised US$60 million in a new round of funding led by Tribe Capital. The funding will be used to aid in Kepler’s growth, including an expansion in the U.S. The company is working to put just over 200 satellites in orbit to get its network fully operational by 2023.
Kepler designs, builds, launches, and operates a network of low earth orbit satellites with the goal of bringing internet to outer space.
Tribe Capital is an early stage venture capital firm focused on recognizing and amplifying early stage product-market fit.
Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised Kepler with a team consisting of Chad Bayne, Justin Dharamdial, Jeremy Lin and Jordana Corber-Tovel (Emerging and High Growth Companies).
