On October 21, 2019, Microsoft announced its acquisition of Mover, a provider of cloud file migration. Mover brings migration technology to advance Microsoft’s commitment to provide organizations of all sizes with the right tools, people and partners for easy and cost effective migration to the Microsoft Cloud.

Microsoft, founded in 1975, is the worldwide leader in software, services and solutions that help people and businesses realize their full potential.

Based in Edmonton, Mover is a provider of admin-led and self-service cloud file migration offerings.
