On November 15, 2021, Absolent Air Care Group announced its acquisition of Quatro Air Technologies and its subsidiary Aerofil. The acquisition facilitates the expansion of Absolent Air Care Group’s offerings and leverages Quatro’s diversified customer base and high retention rate. The transaction is valued at approximately $36.5 million.

Quatro Air Technologies is a Quebec-based manufacturer focused on developing and selling portable plug and play air cleaning solutions to hospitals, dental labs, schools, data centers and offices. Aerofil distributes air cleaning solutions to remove particles and gas at industries such as minerals processing, pulp and paper and pharmaceutical.

Absolent Air Care Group is an international producer of air cleaning equipment for the machine tool business based in Sweden.

Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP advised the sellers of Quatro Air Technologies with a team led by Niko Veilleux and consisting of Jean-Philippe Bertrand (Corporate), Alain Fournier and Jean-Philippe Dionne (Tax) and Julien Ranger (Labour & Employment).
