Thriver announced the completion of its US$33 million Series B financing round and its rebranding to Thriver (previously Platterz). The financing was led by Viola Growth and will be used to support Thriver’s expansion into new geographic markets and verticals. Under the rebrand, Thriver will maintain the same food and beverage offerings as Platterz but has added broader culture oriented programs focused on driving employee engagement and the promotion of workplace wellness.
Thriver is a Toronto based catering startup specializing in office catering and a new virtual experience that allows employees to connect through activities such as group fitness, cooking and mental health sessions.
