Osler is representing the Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) in multiple litigation claims involving construction and design of the Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension Project. The Toronto-York Spadina Subway Extension provides a critical extension for the existing Toronto Transit Commission subway system across the municipal boundary between the City of Toronto and the Regional Municipality of York. One of these claims includes a claim for damages against TTC by Walsh Construction Company Canada in the amount of $218 million, as well as numerous claims by subcontractors and suppliers on the project.
