On April 1, 2019, Untether AI announced a USD$13 million Series A financing round led by Intel Capital. The company will use the proceeds to continue to develop its artificial intelligence prototype chip and bring it to market. This chip will power future devices that will be able to interpret the real world environment around them.
Untether AI Corporation, based in Toronto, manufactures neural net based inference processors and chips. The processor enables devices to carry out inference operations, including machine vision and speech recognition capabilities.
