Osler is representing Blackstone in connection with its announced acquisition of Pure Industrial Real Estate Trust for $3.8 billion.
PIRET owns and operates a diversified portfolio of income-producing industrial properties in leading markets across Canada and key distribution and logistics markets in the United States. PIRET is an internally managed REIT and one of the largest publicly-traded REITs in Canada.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2018 and is subject to Canadian regulatory approvals.
