On October 31, 2018, Chefs Plate was acquired by HelloFresh SE for an undisclosed amount.
The transaction will allow Chefs Plate to leverage the strength of the most successful global player in the market and continue to build a sustainable Canadian food system and support the community.

HelloFresh SE is an international publicly traded meal-kit company based in Berlin, Germany. It is the largest meal-kit provider in the United States, and also has operations in Canada, Western Europe, and Australia.
