On June 6, 2019, Intelex Technologies Inc. announced its acquisition by Industrial Scientific for a total value of $570 million. As a result of the transaction, Intelex plans to enter into new markets globally and create a nerve center for EHSQ 4.0 automation. Intelex will be using its software to support Industrial Scientific’s products that aim to protect workers from hazardous conditions.

Intelex Technologies is a Toronto based Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHSQ) SaaS company that assists organizations minimize their negative social, environmental and human impacts.

Industrial Scientific Corporation, headquartered in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, designs and manufactures gas detection products that protect workers from hazardous conditions around the world.
