On April 15, 2021, Perpetua completed its acquisition by Ascential. The acquisition will add Perpetua to Ascential’s digital commerce segment and will expand the business to include serving third party sellers. The transaction was for an initial US$52 million in cash, and includes deferred consideration payable over four years of up to US$162 million.

Perpetua is an SaaS software firm specializing in optimizing the purchase of search and display advertising of on major third party sellers.

Ascential is an information services firm focused on providing specialist information, analytics and ecommerce optimization for consumer brands.
