Katey completed her Juris Doctor at Lincoln Alexander School of Law in Toronto. The highlight of her studies was working with founders at the DMZ in Start-Up Law and representing TMU at the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada.

Prior to attending law school, Katey rode horses at the international level in Toronto and Wellington, Florida.
