Andree D. Taylor

Andree formerly acted as General Counsel to a national defence organization representing physicians. She has acted as litigation counsel at the trial and appellate levels and has appeared before Hospital Medical Advisory Committees, Hospital Boards of Directors, Health Professions Appeal and Review Board and various committees of professional regulatory bodies.

Andree served as an Executive Member of the National Health Law Section of the Canadian Bar Association and was the Regional Representative for the East Region on the Ontario Bar Association’s Health Law Executive. 

Andree is a lecturer in the Osgoode Hall LL.M Information Technology and Privacy in Health Law course.

Andree was a co-editor of the Electronic Healthcare Law Review for six years and has authored a number of articles on privacy and health law issues, including Interpreting Privacy Legislation in a Practical Way in an EMR Environment; The Tort of Public Disclosure of Embarrassing Private Facts; and Social Media Users Beware: Considerations for Health Professionals.

Andree actively supports the work of local charitable organizations, including through the organization of firm fundraising and holiday gift drive events. She previously sat on the organizing committee for the annual Ronald McDonald House charity golf tournament. For many years, Andree has been actively engaged in student recruitment initiatives and has been committed to mentoring associates and summer law students.
