Edward is a partner in the Financial Services Group of our Calgary office. He has extensive experience in advising domestic and international lenders and borrowers on a variety of complicated financing transactions including syndicated bank financings, asset-based lending transactions, cross-border and international financing transactions, and equipment financings and leases.
Edward also regularly acts for public and private corporations of all sizes on an assortment of wide-ranging corporate matters.
He is recognized as a leading lawyer in Banking & Financial Institutions and Asset Equipment Finance/Leasing by Chambers Canada, The Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory, and in Banking & Finance Law by Best Lawyers in Canada.

- Lead Counsel to a syndicate of 10 North American Banks extending $500 million in asset-based lending credit facilities to a Canadian heavy equipment lessor.
- Lead Counsel to a syndicate of Canadian Banks extending $250 million in asset-based lending credit facilities to a Western Canadian Agricultural Co-Operative Group.
- Lead Counsel to a syndicate of Canadian Banks extending $200 million in credit facilities to a Western Canadian Agricultural producer.
- Lead Counsel to a private Energy company in obtaining $160 million in credit facilities from a syndicate of Canadian Banks.
- Lead Counsel to a syndicate of North American Banks extending $140 million in credit facilities to a related group of North American manufacturers.
