Josy-Ann Therrien

Josy-Ann is a versatile litigator who advises and represents clients from various sectors and businesses in complex civil and commercial disputes, investigations, and regulatory enforcement matters.  She has extensive experience in contractual disputes, civil liability, environmental law, class actions, privacy law, securities law and construction law.

Josy-Ann is also a member of Osler’s Regulatory, Indigenous and Environmental group, and provides regulatory and environmental advice relating to regulatory investigation and orders, environmental assessments, permits and approvals, and regulatory compliance. She also assists clients through the environmental aspects of commercial and real estate transactions.

Josy-Ann leverages her dual law degree and master in business administration to provide strategic and practical solutions for her clients.  She has successfully defended clients before the Québec courts and administrative tribunals. During her studies, Josy-Ann served as a law clerk at the Superior Court of Montréal and completed an internship in Paris within an international management consulting firm


Community Involvement

  • Acted in a Pro Bono case before the Superior Court of Québec and the Québec Court of Appeal for a non-profit organization in the Montréal community in the context of municipal litigation
  • Volunteer in the management of Opération Père Noël (OPN) for the Greater Montréal area
