Michael is an associate in the Corporate Group of our Toronto office practicing corporate and securities law. He has represented public and private clients across various industries on a broad spectrum of transactions, including corporate finance matters and M&A.
Michael frequently acts for both issuers and investment banks on equity and debt financings, including initial public offerings, reverse takeovers, new issues, secondary offerings, “at-the-market” equity distribution programs, and private placement transactions. Michael has also advised on both public and private M&A deals and strategic investments. He also regularly provides ongoing disclosure and corporate governance advice to publicly listed issuers.
Prior to joining Osler, Michael worked in the corporate capital markets group in the Toronto office of a national law firm and earned his J.D. from Western University and his B.A. from Queen’s University.
