Tara Hristov

Tara is the Labour and Employment Lawyer in Osler Works—HR, dedicated to transforming the practice of employment and labour law by using a combination of people, process and technology. Based in Osler’s Ottawa office, Tara leverages cutting-edge legal software to innovate Osler’s employment and labour practice and drive down client cost. Her innovation projects include adapting document automation software to ensure fast and accurate drafting of employment-related agreements and documents, as well as adapting artificial intelligence and machine learning tools to enhance diligence reviews. In addition to her work with Osler Works – HR, Tara regularly advises Canadian and U.S. clients on a wide range of issues in employment and labour relations law, including corporate transactions, employment standards, privacy, human rights, workplace harassment and investigations, occupational health and safety, and employee terminations.

Tara regularly assists employers with the implementation of workplace policies, bonus plans, and other incentive compensation arrangements. She also assists with the negotiation and drafting of contractual arrangements including employment, contractor, restrictive covenant, and separation agreements.
