The Honourable Marc Noël is a partner in the National Tax Practice and practices in our Ottawa office. Marc’s long and distinguished legal career has spanned nearly 50 years. His many years as an accomplished tax lawyer practicing in both Ontario and Québec were followed by his appointment to the Federal Court in 1992. Marc was appointed as Chief Justice of the Federal Court of Appeal in 2014 and served in that role until his retirement in 2023. During his tenure at the Federal Court of Appeal, Marc built a reputation as one of Canada’s leading tax jurists.
Marc’s practice focuses on tax disputes and litigation. His experience and expertise provide clients with invaluable insight into complex tax disputes.
