Zain Hemani

Zain’s practice includes advising on general corporate and commercial matters with a focus on technology and he also specializes in the areas of autonomous vehicles and drone law.

Prior to joining Osler, Zain worked as an algorithmic trading analyst at a major Canadian investment bank and as a software developer for a financial institution. In addition, Zain has had a number of entrepreneurial ventures, including three web applications that have won awards at hackathons in Canada and the United States. Zain is currently an instructor of the FinTech Bootcamp at the University of Toronto.

Zain joined Osler as a summer student in 2018 and returned to complete his articles with the firm in 2019-2020.
