Amelia’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and securities and general corporate matters. She has experience  acting for issuers and for underwriters on domestic and international public offerings, private placements and listing transactions. She has also represented both acquirors and targets in public and private company M&A transactions. In addition to her transactional practice, Amelia routinely advises reporting issuers on continuous disclosure matters and general corporate and securities compliance matters.

She joined the firm as a summer student in 2010 and completed her articles with the firm from 2011-2012, during which time she was seconded to the Ontario Securities Commission. She also completed a secondment at a Canadian public reporting issuer operating in the retail industry in 2017.
