Myriam is the Director of Professional Resources in the Montreal office. She is responsible for talent management, including the associate and student programs, the management and administration of student recruitment, lateral recruitment, and the training and professional development of our lawyers.
She supports the national strategic direction by participating in the development and implementation of initiatives regarding talent management, the promotion and retention of lawyers and the advancement of the diversity and inclusion programs. Myriam also participates in the professional advancement of lawyers at the firm through her involvement in practice management and performance, mentoring, performance evaluations, compensation, and admission to partnership.
Working closely with leaders and partners of the firm, she therefore oversees all talent processes and programs related to our legal professionals.
After practicing family law, Myriam worked as a recruitment consultant and headhunter for a national recruitment agency specializing in the legal services industry. In this capacity, she had the opportunity to work with many of the large Canadian law firms. Prior to joining Osler, she held a management position on the talent team of another national law firm.
