Zain graduated from the Combined J.D. and Honors Computer Science program at Western University, where he served as the President of the Western Intellectual Property Association and President of Western Founders Network – the largest business-technology organization on campus. Zain has also served as a Research Assistant to Professor Jennifer Farrell looking at the technological requirements for blockchain integration in collecting Federal Sales Tax. Following his first year of law school, Zain worked as an Algorithmic Trading Analyst at a major Canadian investment bank to help develop their electronic trading platforms. Additionally, Zain has worked as a Software Developer for a financial institution and as a Cyber Security Engineer for a government agency.
Aside from Zain’s work experience, he has had a number of entrepreneurial ventures, including three web applications that have won awards at hackathons in Canada and the United States. During his time at school, Zain has participated in many intramural soccer teams and has played soccer at the provincial level.
