On April 4, 2023, Lavergne Industries Inc. received a $20 million investment from Fondaction. Lavergne focuses on meeting the strong demand for carbon footprint by manufacturing resins from recycled plastic. Through this investment, the company will continue to expand their presence in the market and attract new customers.

Lavergne Industries Inc., based in Montreal is one of the largest mechanical plastic recyclers in North America.

Fondaction, based in Quebec is an investment fund that has been operating for over 25 years.
