On June 8, 2015, Universe was acquired by Ticketmaster, a division of Live Nation. 

Universe is a Toronto-based company and the creator of one of the world’s fastest growing ticket platforms. Their unique ticketing feature combines ticketing software with promotional tools. This acquisition will bring the company’s event ticketing and marketing features to a wider global audience of event organizers.

Ticketmaster Entertainment, Inc. is an American ticket sales and distribution company based in West Hollywood, California.
