Laura Webb

Laura’s practice focuses on venture capital and private equity fund formation, representing both fund sponsors and institutional investors. She advises emerging and established managers on all aspects of fund structuring, launch and operations, including governance, economics, carried interest arrangements, succession planning, limited partner relations, and regulatory and compliance matters. Her sponsor-side work spans venture capital funds, private equity funds, studios, accelerators, co-investment vehicles and SPVs.

Laura also represents institutional investors, banks and government entities in connection with their venture capital and private equity fund commitments, co-investments and SPVs. In addition, Laura’s practice involves representing venture capital funds, angels and strategic investors on their investments, including SAFE agreements, preferred equity financings and convertible debt transactions. She works with investors across the full spectrum of company stages, from seed through growth equity, and her fund formation work equips her with a deep understanding of fund economics and operations in negotiating these transactions.
