While each of our offices has its own distinct programs and personality, all of our students share in the experience of working as one firm to deliver unparalleled service to our clients on business-critical matters. We invest in our students as our future lawyers, integral to the growth of our firm. We value the contributions of our students and strive to provide a work environment that is supportive and collegial. We demonstrate this through our consistently strong hire-back results.
We want our students to have a meaningful and practical experience. Our summer and articling programs provide the opportunity to work with many of the best business lawyers practising in Canada today. You will be exposed to all aspects of our practice, engaging in the same challenging and interesting work as our lawyers. You will have the opportunity to explore a variety of practice areas and determine which areas most interest you through a variety of assignments including, but not limited to, preparing research assignments, drafting memos and agreements, assisting on closings, and attending client meetings, negotiations and court appearances.
We support a healthy social network through a variety of social activities allowing students to informally connect with members across the firm. From casual dinners and get-togethers to sporting events and cultural programs, our students are integrated into the firm from their very first day.
We also offer one of the best compensation and benefits packages in Canada. For more details on compensation and benefits, please visit the NALP Canadian Directory of Legal Employers.
At Osler's head office of over 300 legal professionals, you will work closely with leading practitioners across a variety of practices and styles and engage in the same challenging work as our associates.
